This year, HAK '18 continued working on the Village Hall which was about 70% complete when we left the village. The team from SUTD has since carried on the works. Progress is good, & the hall is due for completion in the coming year!

Once again, we had our annual Christmas Dinner where we cooked for the villagers. We had Biryani Rice, Chicken Rendang, Sambal Kangkung, Begedil, Pappadom & Mua Chee! Yum!
We also had a New Year's BBQ lunch where we made satay, & even a brunch day with Pancakes, sausages & scrambled eggs!

lessons
The Hakikis conducted basic English classes covering topics ranging from Alphebets, Counting from 1 - 20, Occupations, Emotions & Household objects. The children had lots of fun participating in our game-based teaching approach.
HEALTHCARE
The Hakikis also went to the inner Na Phong village TWICE this time. Once to distribute donated items like clothes & shoes, & the next time, to distribute toothbrushes. We also taught them the importance of teeth brushing & hand washing. We ended the visit by playing with the children in their garden.
