The hall provides the villagers with a common space for meetings, which involves the prevalent issues in the village such as the management of social issues such as drug abuse, poor sanitation and theft. On top of that, the hall may also act as a platform for Ministry of Health representatives to increase health awareness through birth control lessons and provision of vaccinations.

We got hands on with cooking for the villagers & made some Satay chicken, laksa, muah chee and curry vegetables.
English
lessons
HAK'16 conducted English lessons in Pong Song Secondary School, where we taught basic English vocabulary and grammar. We also provided lesson outlines for the existing English teachers in Pong Song School so as to ensure sustainability of the English teaching.
healthcare
We distributed healthcare and hygiene products such as toothbrush, toothpaste, clothings and shoes to the less well-off ethnic minority group residing in Na Phong Village. At the same time, we educated the villagers on the importance of oral hygiene and how to use the oral products.
